anybody has any experince with aesthera photopneumotic therapy.

I believe they are "mickey mouse" machine efficiency-wise,pretty weak. besides, I heard they lost funding from their investors.

I have been using Aesthera Photopneumotic therapy for about 6 months now. So far I'm not happy with it's results. Acne has been mixed results and SR Photofinsh does not seem to do much at all. Most my patient have been unhappy with so little results. I end up going back to the Aurua/Ktp machine to get rid of facial tele, and brown spots.

They started out as painless hair removal, then switched to photorejuvenation, only to discover their product works best for acne! They actually just pulled their own patent for PPX and have reinvented the Isolaz for acne only. I've demo'd the unit and saw amazing deep pore cleansing, a little LED like treatment for inflammation and P. acnes. Cost to client is $350 per treatment, I've been told it takes 6-8 treatments for excellent long tern clearance, and most notice a big difference after 3 treatments. If I had extra funds lying around I'd take it but the majority of my clients are looking for resurfacing and tightening. And our acne clients are very happy at the moment.

I used the PPx on 2 patients,1 with cystic acne on the back (1 side treated) and the latter was much better 5 days later. Obviously anecdotal. Has anyone used the Palomar Lux V or the 1450 diode? Lots of studies on the latter but veryfew on the Lux.

Great for Acne, only if pustular or comedonal. Otherwise not a great purchase. I was hoping to use it for sun damage as well, but results are poor.

I have heard from many people that the aesthera is great for acne as well. Just not much else. I have used the Lux V for about 30 people and have receved some very nice results for acne as well. The aesthera has no pain and probably does the best for acne.
