MEDICAL SPA MD FORUMS - MEMBER ONLY ACCESS FOR CLINICIANS IN NONSURGICAL COSMETIC MEDICINE - BECOME A MEMBER / IT'S FREE
I think is wrong to publish patient's pictures on the web.
Assuming you have properly acquired a media release from the patient, I suggest you do the following;
-Watermark your photos so it will discourage other sites from grabbing your photos.
-Label your photos by using pseudonyms to keep anonymity. Recognize your patient's right to privacy.
Censor the eyes with a black strip if you need to show the face. Even if you do not have a name associated to the face, some faces are so distinct or famous that anyone can associate the face with the person's identity.
And don't forget to inform your webmaster to disable the Right Click Save As function on the page where you have the before & after pictures. This prevents other sites from taking your photos.
