Can anybody please suggest a good microdermabrasion machine?

Pristine by viioramed.Very reliable ,with diamond heads ,so you can customize the degree of exfoliation. Also, the patients like very much to see the accumulated debris on the filter surface. This is a very strong marketing tool.It comes with a hypersonic cleaning device to disinfect and cleaning the diamond heads.

I recommend Dermaglide--it's made in USA. Works wonders and very reliable!

Stay away from SmartPeel microderm machines!

check Dermamed.they have great medical grade micro systems and aesthetics.

I am trying to find an efficient Diamond tip Microderm machine. I need your suggestions and recommendations. Thanks a lot.

I have been using the Mattioli ultrapeel microdermabrasion for the last 8 years, it works brilliantly for superficial exfoliation and deeper exfoliation for scar revision too. You can choose to have a transdermal delivery attachment for it too. Tubing, crystals and the handpieces are sold separately.

I have used Derma Files for several years and am happy with the results as are my clients.

I just did a microderm using the Bi-Therapeutics machine. It is phenomenal!

G.geisinger, cCurious to know why you wouldn't recommend SmartPeel?

I have a 5 in 1 with Diamond tip microdermabrasion and the results are great for under $1000. It's the Nova 2012 model.

I've been using the Bella Microderm system for over 10 years -- this machine was updated/upgraded fairly recently. Check this out

I have the skin base machine which I have achieved excellent results with.

I've used Dermafile and I think they are amazing. Results more dramatic than expensive microdermabrasion machines. A lot of clients experience some peeling especially if they don't do regular exfoliation. It's great for the esthe on a budget.

I would caution you against an ImageDerm machine. We have had repeated problems with our Porta Peel machine ($5000) and have sent it back to manufacturer for repairs several times within the first year of (very light) use. Last time we were told we could "upgrade" to their newest model for only "$700 more". Turns out we had the newest model! Anyhow, I'm researching other options now too so will be interested in what others recommend. Again, good luck!

The Essentials Peel micro machine is affordable and portable. It has crystals and diamond tip and comes with LED and hydra mist.

I survived without a microdermabrasion machine in my clinic for 6 months now. And I would probably still be ok if I haven't purchased it. It was a large expense I put on my credit card. While I haven't paid the balance off yet, I have done enough microdermabrasion services this year to pay for it twice. I need to be better about paying off the debt... Anyway, my suggestion is to invest in DermaFiles as Richelle mentioned. It's only a few hundred dollars as opposed to thousands. That way you can have something different to offer without breaking the bank.

Is anyone using the Hydro-Microdermabrasion machine ? I would like to find out more about that.

Microdermabrasion is still on the top of the treatment lists. How much is your budget? Scout for great machines that are available at a lower cost...I'm sure you'll be able to find one. Do you want a medical grade one? Who will be operating it? Equipment these days can be very confusing. Be cautious with anything second hand!

I've been using the BioHydraderm machine from Bio-Therapeutics. Love that I can use it on any skin type and be as aggressive or as gentle as I need!

I use the crystal free microderm from Advanced Rejuvenating Concepts with LED light option. Works GREAT!

Being in this industry for almost 2 years, we've been using the dermafile. My patients love it. Also it is more affordable then a microdermabrasion machine.

I love the Dermasound Elite machine sold by GlyMed Plus. It has three modalities: exfoliation, penetration, and microamp technology. Minimal maintenance is required and the only thing you'll need to perform the treatment is distilled water.

01.17 | Unregistered Commenterrmain

I would say to go with the Dermasound as well. You can use it with acne and rosacea clients-- so you have more options than you do with a micro machine.

Take a look at SilkPeel Dermal Infusion. Beautiful results.

An alternative to microdemabrasion is dermaplaning..very inexpensive and very effective when used with the right products

I love using Dermafile! You don't have the vacuum which causes broken capillary issues with traditional microdermabrasion machines.

I have a Medical Microdermabrasion Machine by Parisian Peel. Excellent results with no clogging or repairs. I had my machine for 7 years now.

Active acne should never be treated with abrasive techniques including microdermabrasion. It should only be performed after getting acne under control in order to reduce scars and discoloration .

DermaSweep is the latest and the greatest! It's what I use and I love it! It's an upgrade from a DiamondTone

03.11 | Unregistered CommenterAndi

If you will purchase a pre-owned system, make sure that you purchase it from the original manufacturer and get a one year warranty.

We use the Skin-Apeel Micro machine which is very versatile. You can use diamond tip or crystals. Made in California and is very affordable. Customer service is great!

According to my understanding, crystals should not be used any more, since there is a risk that they may provoke cancer, because they go to nasal mucosa. As an aesthetic dermatologist I only use diamond tip dermabrasion. I am very happy with the results.

04.6 | Unregistered Commenterhann.a

Couldn't agree more. Go with a diamond tip, less mess with great results.

04.10 | Unregistered CommenterArden28704

I purchased my microdermabrasion machine through LCL Beauty, about a year ago, and still love it. It is a diamond tip machine, works great.. But when I had problems with my spray defuser, they sent me replacement parts free of charge the next day. They are really great to work with!

Does anybody have any experience with Dermafrac by Genesis?

05.29 | Registered CommenterCalin Savu

You should consider HydraFacial which exfoliates, detoxifies, rejuvenates and protects all in one. It also separates you from the competition, since everyone's got microderm.
