Physician to Physician Discussions > Finding a good Lawyer?

I am trying to find an attorney that has had previous experience with Medspas in Idaho. If you know anyone that you would recommend please let me know. Thanks

You may recognize your problem as being serious, however, any attorney will think about the extent of your problem and what it is worth financially. You can only sue for damages, consequently, if the damages are not too serious to the court there is no way to get paid more than the damages are worth as seen by the court.

My personal feelings on this is... ! was the work done by a plastic surgeon? If NOT.. does your state issue a license to "technicians" to do this work? 3. What schooling does your state require for "technicians" to do any of this work? 4.Did your technician go to school to learn how to do this "treatment:" Where? For how long?.

Was the work done in the office of a doctor? Was the doctor supervising the "treatments"? Was the doctor there at all?

The purpose of treatments is to ALTER THE APPEARANCE OF THE SKIN AND/OR remove hair. Therefore, the definition of surgery is.... if a procedure alters the structure and/or function of the area being treated it is SURGERY and doing this without a license is ...Practicing medicine without a license. This is illegal in ALL States and NO MALPRACTICE INSURANCE covers an illegal act. What procedure did you have done on what area and what was the consequence. Remember, there are NO GUARANTEES in medicine as there are too many variables. Many patients did not like the outcome of their surgery, however, that is not a good reason to sue unless there was NEGLIGANCE on the part of the doctor. If his technician worked under his license... he is ultimately responsible for anything that happens in his office. If he is Medical Director of an office... the one with the highest level of training is liable. Patients go there because a doctor's name is on the door or advertising, therefore, he is liable as he is supposed to be sure the people working for him are QUALIFIED.
