MEDICAL SPA MD FORUMS - MEMBER ONLY ACCESS FOR CLINICIANS IN NONSURGICAL COSMETIC MEDICINE - BECOME A MEMBER / IT'S FREE
Brittny,
There are a lot of posts in this forum and the legal forum that address this. The way the industry is going, you can't hire a physician. They need to be on site to personally review every patient prior to service. What we're seeing nationwide is that it is going the other way. Doctors are hiring spa personnel as an extension of their medical practice or spa facility. The doctor retains the services of a Medical Services Organization (MSO) to provide spa services. This is a model that is working around the country.

I have successfully owned my day spa for 2 years now, and I am wanting to add the medical aspect to my day spa. FYI I am a licensed aesthetician. My spa is in Brentwood, TN and I am not sure how to go about getting a medical director for my spa. I can't find any info online, so I'm really lost right now haha. If someone can send me information as to how to get a medical director, any/all details would be greatly appreciated!!
Thank you!
