What are the most useful metrics in your business?
I'm struggling with discovering the right operational metrics for my medspa. I want something that leads to insight and improvement in my operations. The metrics:
- Must be actionable; can not be an answer in search of a problem.
- Provide early warning signs
- Can not be laborious to generate
- Identify deficiencies and areas for improvement.
I have an easy time with the website metrics (time on site, time on page, number of submission, etc.) and the financial metrics (how much money are we making, what services are most/least profitable, etc.). However, when I consider the operational metrics (such as average treatment rate, treatment room utilization, therapist productivity) about the only conclusion they ever lead me to is, sell more!
