MEDICAL SPA MD FORUMS - MEMBER ONLY ACCESS FOR CLINICIANS IN NONSURGICAL COSMETIC MEDICINE - BECOME A MEMBER / IT'S FREE
dear friends
i'm a dermatologist just finished , during my residency and fellowship i only trained on lasers, now i'm starting in a small city where actually most of dermatologist/spa uses ipl! so i'm afraid of putting alot of money in laser knowing that i dont know whether i will succeed in my practice
my questions are
1-what IPL device you recommend and why?
2-whats the specifications to look for when buying an IPl machine
3-do you think buying an IPL will do good for me in (hair removal ) as this is the main aspect i want to use , plus majority of my patients are type III fitz Patrick with some type IV?
thanks for your help in advance
btw, i just checked "IPL Dog & Lemon Guide" and it s really outdated and has lots of mistakes regarding technical specs. i wish the guide has it s critics here so that it gives the benefit as it s value.

I'm a medical esthetician in a plastic surgeon/derm office. We are looking at purchasing a new BBL. Any thoughts on pricing with 3 yr warranty. Has anyone had any recent experience negotiating?
