Cosmetic IPL Laser Reviews & Comparisons > Palomar Medilux

Hi,

I have a Palomar Medilux laser. I have horrible results with it. The company has been terrible with support. Has anyone else had this experience with Palomar?

Don't buy one.

If you are having a problem with your Medilux, I am certain I can get someone at Palomar to help you. They have been very helpful to me on any issue I have ever had.

I agree. Palomar is a very good company. They provide a lot of technical advice and they are more than happy to connect you with a more experienced user if you encounter problem with the treatment.

PMD: You are not alone. Give me a call or email to discuss. 706-548-8668, pud@classiccitylaw.com.

The previous poster is Mr. Penn Dodson, who is a lawyer who works for the firm of Timmons, Warnes and Anderson. It appears to me as though he is bottom feeding and soliciting for a case which is highly unethical. He states, "You are not alone" but is unwilling to produce any relevant information. His comments are, in my opinion, meaningless and derogatory if not libelous. I agree with MJS MD PA and CanMD, Palomar is a great company. I would like to know if PMD ever contacted MJS MD PA to get help with his problem or is he just a sales rep trying to hurt the image and reputation of a very good company.

For the record:

I did contact them.
They did help. But I had to pay for the new training. I thought that was not OK.

The training was good.

We paid for training when we got the machine the staff that was here left and now we have the machine and no one knows how to use it. An the company has been no help they want us to pay the full price for the training again . Dose anyone have a book or notes on the machine and how to use it that we may have copies of.
Thank you for any help Julie

Julie: If you send me youe e-mail address I might be able to help you out. Do you have the Medilux?

I've had multiple Palomar Medilux over the last five years. (Starting with the Extelux and then three Medilux) I've found Palomar to be 'average' in the way that laser treatment technology providers tend to be. They want to get as much money as possible for the least amount of effort. Totaly understandable. They've not gone out of their way to be proactive and the 'help you build your business' stuff like the Lux Club is useless window-dressing. Again, understandable. WIth all the Cutera talk I'd like to see more discussion around Palomar and the Medilux. (Just one laser clinic MD's opinion.)

Laser Clinic MD. I agree with you. Are there really only a handful of Palomar users?
