Both systems use a diode laser. SlimLipo is a dual wavelength of 920/980 nm, and lipotherme is 980. Lipotherm has the fiber through cannula system, and slim has just the flexible fiber with added benefit of expandability of the platform in the future. lipotherme is however most portable, and is coming up witha skin temperature mapping/monitoring. Prices are in the same vicinity. Any thoughts on which one to buy?
