MEDICAL SPA MD FORUMS - MEMBER ONLY ACCESS FOR CLINICIANS IN NONSURGICAL COSMETIC MEDICINE - BECOME A MEMBER / IT'S FREE
Dear Julianne,
As I understand it, those policies and procedures are a function of your state board of nursing. For example, the Washington State Nursing Commission for Quality Assurance just sent all WA. state nurses their latest magazine, and it referred us to the laws that govern RN and ARNP injectors. Your state may or may not require some additional licensing, like esthetician's license. Do yourself a huge favor and check with your state board of nursing before you proceed, as they are the governing body who determine your scope of practice.
Sincerely,
Margaret
