Syneron: elos, eLight, eMax, & LipoLite > eMax
Hi Kim,
I would suggest that you do some research and then ask very specific questions... Just listing a bunch of wants won't get a lot of people interested in helping you since you haven't done any homework. BTW: I don't have a Syneron eMax.
I would recommend searching the FDA's MAUDE database, and doing a Google search for FDA warning letters about the Emax.
Thanks QMD and Mickey,
Sorry I'm new to this website and how it works.
Mostly I want to know if the RF features are all that syneron claims. I'm considering purchase of this machine or the cynosure elite.
I currently have a candela MGL and want the same efficacy that I am getting with this machine but I want more versatility with applications (more vascular and rejuvenation options). Also I am not keen on the ongoing costs of the cryogen canisters with my current device.
Any guidance or advice would be greatly appreciated.
K
I am always going to recommend a laser over an IPL, and the Cynosure Apogee Elite is one of the best in the market. As far as your cryogen expenses- you can find them for a lot cheaper. Contact me off the list if you need more help. I am a registered user.
I have seen fat loss and dermal atrophy with the EMAX machine. The radiofrequency goes too deep. Pick a machine that only does IPL if you want IPL. The combination is too intense.
Hi all,
I am interested in hearing from anyone that has or is currently had a Syneron eMax in their clinic.
Can you tell me:
-What the strengths and weaknesses of this machine is?
-Effectiveness of various treatments offered by the eMax, (vascular, pigmentation, tightening, wrinkle removal, hair etc)
-Reliability and maintenance costs
-How it compares to other "like-type" machines
-Bang for buck factor
Thanks all and hope to hear from you.
Kim
