Sciton: Joule & BBL > Prices on BBL and Apogee Alexandrite
Yoni: WIth the BBL there are many different possibilities to configure the device -- see details on the Sciton web site. You are correct -- the hardest thing in the world today is to find out the actual prices for which these devices are being sold across the world. Pricing can also vary a great deal from month to month and from country to country. For example, the "regular" list price for the Apogee Alexandrite laser has always been in the neighborhood of US100,000 -- but if you negotiate hard you can probably get a significant discount because Cynosure (like everyone else) is struggling right now. You would be better off with their ELITE laser anyway-- which gives you both 1064 and 755 wavelengths for much greater versatility.
If you want just the IPL part of the device, the Sciton BBL is in the same neighborhood -- but you can probably negotiate a discount.
Thanks for the reply. You are 100% correct getting prices on the phone is like pulling teeth! Even on the Scition websibe it only gives specs - no prices! Regarding the BBL i am only looking for the 6 standard filters and not the skintyte filter. When i phone either Sciton or Cynosure, I have to answer a million questions first, commit to a vist from a rep and still they will not give me prices over the phone!! I know both machines very well and feel that the "3rd degree" on the phone is terrible.
Thanks Doug, have sent you an email.
Can anyone help me with estimate prices for these 2 systems new? The companies are not prepared to give prices over the phone and I am only shopping around for now.
