I am a NP planning to open a med spa in Georgia and I'm hoping to get some advice. First, does any one know what kind of agreement needs to be in place between an APRN and physician in GA, I've contacted the medical board and nursing board and the nursing board is clueless of what a med spa is nor the regulations and the medical board "thinks" you only need a collaborative agreement in place.

I know most med spas have a medical director so I'm trying to figure out do I need a medical director or just a collaborating physician.

ALSO.... I was wondering if some of you could inform me of what financial agreements you have with or as a medical director. Whats the monthly payment toward medical directors? How did you find your medical director or how were you found (if you are a medical director).
