Physician to Physician Discussions > Anybody heard of Dermatude?
I just ordered the Dermatude yesterday, and should have it late next week. I spoke to two people who have used the device for three months, and they both tell me the results are incredible. Looking forward to having it soon. Will post back results once I have used this.

I watched the video and it appears to be user-friendly. Is the device really easy to sanitize?
The device and handpiece are easy to sanitize. The needle modules are disposable, so you use for every client a new sterile needle module.
Is Dermatude good for acne scarring?
With Meta Therapy you make small invisible perforations in the skin which stimulate the skin to reproduce Collagen and Elastin.
This will give your skin a smoother structure finer pores etc.
A combination with Micro-Dermabrasion would be effective as well.
I have a Dermatude machine and my patients love their treatments and results. Dermatude full face treatments are painless and no downtime. I'm seeing great results after 3 treatments. Love it. Highly recommendable!
I purchased the unit in October. I seem to do more lines/wrinkles with the 7pt & acne scarring with the 9pt than I do a full facial treatment with the 18 pt?? not sure why but I LOVE the equipment. It has allowed me to offer this service to regular customers & increase my income significantly higher in a shorter period of time. I plan on focusing more & more on this service. It really works!
This additional iteration of current micro needling torture devices will be cast on the trash heap of the history of what stupid people do to each other and themselves.
I haven't tried it, but I use the Dermaroller and get great results with it.
The good thing about Dermatude is, that you can work very detailed, even around the mouth, nose and eyes. You also can do specific deep wrinkle treatments. And it doesn't go as deep as the dermaroller, so there is no bleeding but your do get great results.
Hi all. Do you have info regarding the scope of practice of physicians using this device? Thank you in advance!
Many states have very specific guidelines regarding this and other procedures. There are a lot of info on the web--such as the summary of microneedling and who is allowed by a state to perform the procedure. I have read it somewhere but I couldn't find the link anymore. Your scope of practice considerations need to be on the check list!
I'm wondering how the Dermatude unit operates. Is it battery operated or en electric device?
