I am a RN and will be opening my own Medspa in MN- my medical director is an NP and the board of nursing stated that to her that she has to assess every patient prior to me administering Botox
and filler. I know many spas in MN that do not have their medical directors on sight ever. What is the rule for that and is there a protocol that we can state where she knows I will be injecting within my scope of practice? How are these spas getting around this?
