. An aesthetician or a cosmetologist who has been certified as a laser technician by the agency may use a laser or IPL device:
1. For hair removal under the indirect supervision of a health professional whose scope of practice permits the supervision.
2. For cosmetic purposes other than hair removal if the aesthetician or cosmetologist is directly supervised by a health professional
In my opinion after you could perform laser hair removal and other IPL treatment just following the AZ rules.

I am a newly licensed esthetician, living in Arizona. I am having a hard time figuring out what is in my scope of practice. I have found I can buy pretty much anything from ipl lasers to LED therapy, but want to be safe and well informed when creating my practice. So here is my question:
In AZ and in CO(moving there in June) can I operate hydra facial, oxygen with facial, Ultrasonic, galvanic, microdermabrasion, derma-planning, micro/needling .5?? I'm sure I missed a few. Or can someone point me to where I can find information that is easy to read?
I know I can't perform laser, fractional, and anything that penetrates the dermis.
