that is about right. Its important to check with your carrier if you are not a dermatologist or plastic surgeon, they may not cover things like botox etc ( PRI) in particular. Remember you are resopnsable for any adverse outcome. The cost sounds about right and each person should be covered individuaully.
Also be aware of NY laws regarding laser use. The aestatician can legally only perform laser hair removal that means skin tightening, resurfacing, tattoo, veins are all medical. Yes you can find spas all over doing that, fine untill something goes wrong and it eventuaully does.
Thank you GM!
I appreciate your help!

Hello,
I am looking for some help as to what the cost of professional liability coverage should be for a spa in New York that does laser hair removal in addition to facial services. Should a policy go up in premium based on each individual employee, or is it based on services offered at the location, or both? My premium for one esthetician who also performs laser hair removal is approximately $2800 annually. I don't have a gauge as to if I am overpaying or if that is about right. Would love some recommendations!
Additionally, is anyone familiar with pay structures for laser technicians in New York? Is it common practice to have them pay for their own insurance, or at least a portion of it?
Thank you,
Dave
