MEDICAL SPA MD FORUMS - MEMBER ONLY ACCESS FOR CLINICIANS IN NONSURGICAL COSMETIC MEDICINE - BECOME A MEMBER / IT'S FREE
In NJ a non medical professional can not open a medical practice with an MD. In NJ cosmetic laser procedures can only be performed by an MD. There is question whether a physician extender ( i.e. NP or PA) can perform laser procedures.

First off let me say I am not a doctor; just would be interested in starting a business. How does law work in NJ for me to try to open up Cosmetic laser center? I understand i need a doctor. I was thinking about opening a place that would provide, tattoo removal and skin rejuvination. .. Would I need a doctor present at all times? Or could he be in the area? Is this viable for somebody like me to do in New Jersey or would it not be a good investment? Thanks for any answers somebody could give.
