They have relationships with the local media vendors and can negotiate lower rates, added value, and have buying power to leverage the best possible deal. Agencies are also mostly FREE to you since they get compensated from the media groups through their agency discount.

We are looking to hire an office manager for a new medispa who would do marketing as well as perform laser and non-laser procedures as the practice is being built. A physician will also be doing Botox, fillers and some laser procedures. We are located just north of New York City. Can anyone give me an idea of what kind of salary to offer such an individual, including:
-base salary
-commissions based on new patients, repeat patients, procedures performed, retail products sold
-bonuses
-etc.?
