Medical Spa Medspa Advertising Marketing > Allergan: The British Invasion
I can't picture Cutera marketing on TV. All they care about are selling you the lasers.

But wouldn't it be nice if these manufacturers advertised and pushed potential customers to seek out facilities with there equipment.

Exactly LH,
You know how the 'Botox Cosmetic' marketing scheme has the two commericals running now...1. "Express Yourself" and 2."Parenthesis" They belong on the page not your face..
So, the company guides the viewer at home on their couch to lookup providers on the website... ie..to be on this list you need to do a opening order 10 vials I believe.
So, Cutera wouldn't be advertising 'Cutera'. They would be advertising fotofacial, spider veins, laser hair reduction, and then guide the veiwer to their website at the end of the commercial.
Personally, I think it's ingenius, but I'm a sucker for great marketing. We're not going with Cutera, but their print and copy marketing is gorgeous.
Allergan's marketing firm has got to cost quite a penny though. Where is all that money coming from?! lol...

Midwest,
I think your on to something...it would be ingenius and possibly a better way to help sell more lasers seeing they would help create more awareness thus demand.

It actually happens somewhat now. Fraxel and Titan did a pretty good job. The problem is it very expensive for laser companies to market this way.

As a side note, I caught wind that Cutera recently hired Allergan's marketing/PR firm. They will possibly start to advertise Cutera on TV like the 'Botox Cosmetic' ads? Anyone else hear of this?
