Has anyone used Spa Week Media Group (89 Fifth Ave., NY, NY) for advertising their Medical Spa? In particular their Spa Week National Gift Card Program. If so, what are your thoughts? I notice they are not an BBB accredited business and have received some complaints. I wasn't sure if it's actually worth our time.

Aren't they a part of SpaFinder? Didn't like the SpaFinder program because of the % they took, plus they were carried at Costco and others offering an additional 20% discount... In the end it just erodes your pricing as your current clients get a 20% discount off your services all the time and you pay SpaFinder like 25%.

SpaWeek promotion is a bit better since it's a limited time offer (one week per year). Not sure how well they promote in your local area though.

I don't believe they are a part of Spa Finder. It looks as if it's the same concept though except Spa Media Group takes 12% of profit from the gift card compared to the 25% Spa Finder takes. We are not in a metropolitan area, so I'm concerned this would just be a waste of time.

spafinder fee is not 25%. they take 17% only from gift card value. you will see a lot more spafinder cards vs. spaweek (which is why that fee is only 12%)
