I had profractional done almost three weeks ago at 350 in the t-zone area and 1-200 in others. I had a MLP done at 20. And BBL. My face is still red. And on my chin is more of a bronze color. I also am plagued with melasma now! Where as before for I had a very small patch on my right cheek that had faded from the use of HQ prior to treatment. My chicken pox scars seem to be more noticiable. And after my sister seen my face three days ago she commented my face looks way worse post treatment. You can imagine I am quite depressed about this. I went to the doc and shared my concern she told me that she didnt expect the hypermelasma to occur. I told her my mom is Native American and dark skinned. She did not know this and said if she had she would have never done the MLP. Doc said it would go away and sold me some 4% HQ. Well I went back yesterday and she prescribed me hc. 1% And said it will go away in a few days. She said I should do another profractional. I am a bit apprehensive to do so. Someone Please give me advise. Thanks so much!! I am 33. I had pores that I wanted to reduce and the patch of melasma.
