Good luck to you when this lemon-in waiting goes down with, most likely, E34, low energy error message.
If you are very lucky it will just be a 3K dye change issue, if not you have burn spots on the optics/rod and can start mortgage papers on your house to get it repaired. That is, if you have a 12K contract with Cynosure to start with....otherwise they will hang up on you!
Blame customer service/boat sales,an J. Palastra!
Uhhh... I can re-surface a rod for $1,500. You must live in a very small house :/
I am thinking about buying a Cynergy used laser. Do I have to recert it thru Cynosure? Is it really expensive to repair?

This is my vascular workhorse.
For those of you new to this laser, it is pretty amazing. On the multiplex mode, you can treat stubborn vascular lesions by the nose and my typical settings are PDL: from 7-8 with pulse duration of 10ms, Nd:YAG starting at about 30 increasing up to about 45 with pulse duration of 15ms and short delay.
I use different settings for spider veins of the legs.
Curious to see what you all use.
