i purchased cutera xeo platform around 2007. during the purchase procedure i was not fully informed on "disposable" nature of Titan hand piece. I also been told that cutera is the best laser available out there. however, i had to service the platform three times in 1 yr; despite the fact that i only used this laser may be on 20 procedures.
would anybody be willing to share their experiences with me? thanks, ika

Cutera sucks. You could have gotten the BBL IPL from Sciton with an infrared filter for zero cost and no disposables.

The best you can do now is make the best of it, hate Cutera and spew venon about Cutera whenever you get the chance (this is what I do).

A used Titan is worth about $10,000 or less.

Sorry to hear that you were ripped off. I was ripped off to the tune of $250,000. I rarely use any of my Cutera Lasers because they suck.

Please turn off your caps. Now, I would have to disagree with you on your viewpoint of Cutera. The first laser I bought was a Cutera Xeo. The only thing I still use is the 1064. They make a great 1064 but that is it. I also own the Titan and the Sciton SkinTyte and I would never purchase the titan again and I would purchase the SkinTyte. I have many patients that have had both Titan treatments as well as SkinTyte treatments and not one of them request the Titan again. Many of the posts on here are personal experiences with different lasers so telling somebody that they are placing misleading information when it is their opinion is wrong. It is OK to give your opinion and why you have come to that conclusion is great.

LH, why your pts did not repeat titan? Was it for pn or lack of effect?
