Cutera: Xeo, Solera, CoolGlide > Cutera Enlighten?
Hi JD. Unfortunately you're going to run into this with almost all laser reps. They're paid on commission and they don't get any servicing used or traded systems. (I've had the best experience with Scition. A few years back they had an offer on this site and I was treated really well which let me to switching from Palomar. Just my experience)
The laser companies are under a lot of pressure to perform in every territory. I'd find out when their fiscal quarter ends and try to get them engaged just before that when they're trying to hit their numbers. Just like a car dealership really.

Is this machine really worth 300k from Cutera? And is it worth upgrading it for 100k to the third wavelength?
We already have one Enlighten, I still think we way over paid for it, but that's currently irrelevant. I've contacted their current rep in our area, as we were looking at used ones he couldn't answer my questions as to how much their recertification fee is. And when I asked him about upgrading a used one, his response was "Cutera doesn't upgrade used equipment." But if we wanted to upgrade our current Enlighten you would do so for 100k...
Is this how Cutera actually conducts business everywhere or are the reps we keep getting (apparently they have a fairly high turnover rate in the SouthWest) just full of it?
