I am in the same situation having to decide on a body slimming equipment promising circumferential reduction. Comparing the Zeltiq and the Ultrashape V3 at the moment. These machines are very expensive and the result is not as dramatic as liposuction. My plastic surgeon colleagues don't believe in these ultrasound / cooling leading to adipocyte apoptosis theory. They believe nothing works better than actually sucking and removing fat tissues out of fat pockets. Liposuction has gone a long way. Now it can be done painlessly with minimally invasive techniques and measurable results time after time. I am still buying a body slimming machine nonetheless for the customers who are aesthetic junkies willing to be the first to try the newest technology. The bottom line for me is whether I can make money with the machine. If results are not apparent, I may have to do a few free liposuction cases to ease disgruntle patients.

I had the opportunity to try the machine for 6 weeks. It is difficult to make money with it. Each treatment was too lengthy which made it tedious for my staff and unpopular with the patients and the results were unimpressive.
