I am looking into purchasing a Skin Tightening/Body Contouring Device which is cost-effective. I have seen devices such as iLipo and Accent Ultra but these are too expensive for my taste as I am just starting out. Any help would be highly appreciated. thanks!

RF is the best nonivasive technology currently available in the market. The brands that you mentioned are seriously overpriced RF. You need bi-polar, 6mhz RF that is focused about 2-4 mm into the subcutaneous and heats very quickly. You can purchase a system like this for under $12k.

What are your thoughts on ultrasound (ie ultrashape, liposonix) vs RF.

The Spa i work in uses a machine called LipoFirm Plus...it uses Ultrasound for the breaking down of fat cells and Radio Frequency for skin tightening! There are both bi polar and mono polar settings for different areas of the body! We've had really good results with it!

I bought an Endermologie system and a TriPollar (Radiofrequency) system. However, the RF alone does not work as well to reduce fat as with Endermologie.

Show me clinical studies that prove RF at any frequency reduces fat.

Working with Exilis right now and it is one of the best I have worked with! Melts fat and tightens, most do not do both!

I would recommend fractional CO2 for skin tightening (stronger and deeper treatments aim at collagen). It is important to choose the manufacturer of the lasers, because low priced models usually give inconsistent results.

What ever you buy if you are practicing in the United States it better be and FDA approved system. Most of these low price systems from Asia are not and when you harm your patients you will then spend the saved money a thousand times over.

I see how it feels when it comes to low price products from Asia without FDA approved, it might make the patients at risk in the process of treatment--i think it's painfully irresponsible behavior. I admit there're lots of this kind of suppliers existing around us--they don't concern anything except your money.

However I want to put this, it could be someone but not everyone. Honestly we don't get our devices FDA approved, seems we save a lot of money for approval and become an upstart. Instead, we use a small part of this much money to do authentic CE and other approvals, which also can prove the great quality, most of the rest to import best quality components and parts, support research and development, try and test the quality and safety, etc, at last a handful of money can be in our pocket. We're supposed to be responsible for what we do and your benefits, as far as I know, none of our clients in the world gets hurt because of our device itself(not including wrong operation, beyond the warranty period)because we sell what we produce, if nobody trusts us, we'll be rapidly out of business--it's totally not expected, indeed.

Actually we now don't have enough strength, money to do FDA approved for each device, and not all of our clients can afford this huge amount, even if the so-called "low price", there're still some people thinking it too high. Maybe we can do this one day if we're ready but not now.

Hope you can understand our tough position(not including irresponsible suppliers)
