Cosmetic IPL Laser Reviews & Comparisons > The LightSheer™ Diode Laser or Candela Lasers

Hello! I had found a contradictory information.I would like to make it clear. So The Candela's
GentleMAX lasers or The LightSheer™ Diode Laser System from Lumenis are better in providing superior results and patient satisfaction?
Thank you

Natalie: the Gentlemax is 2 lasers in one. It has a 755nm diode for HR on skin-types I-III, and a 1064 yag for darker skin; it is usually sold (now) withe the Serenity devices that really makes it tolerable. The lightsheer is a 810 diode that can get to skin type 4 with the appropriate delay. They both work well (I have both-don't ask); if you have light and darker skin patients, you'll probably need 2 machines a diode and a yag. From my experience the Candela machine gets the same job done with less total number of treatments and (w/the serenity device) much less discomfort.

The Syneron DSL is an 810 diode with Bipolar RF that allows treatment on skin types 1-6. There is peer reviewed studies on its efficacy and safety. At least give it a look. I love it.

Syneron DSL is really bad...Never buy it. It is slow and not effective....

I am assuming you are asking about Laser Hair Removal Lasers, so if that is the case, I like the Light Sheer Diode XC for hair removal. I am able to get good results due to the ability to program the milliseconds for the energy duration. It works very well with V and even VI's. I also like the Light Sheer Diode because the chromophore of the laser is the melanin in the hair follicle, as well as the wave length is appropriate for hair removal. The yag, may be used for hair removal for darker skin types, but the chromophore of the yag is hemoglobin, and the wavelength is 1064 nm so it is the" go to " laser for vein therapy. Good laser, just not, in my opinion as effective for long term hair removal as the diode.

Skin Science,

Cantact me at Jeff4459@aol.com. We have formed a LHR User Group. Let me know if you would like to be part of this.
I am using auto setting with low energy (<20 mj) on the thin hairs on Indian patient's faces. It seems to be working well. I am interested in your opinion and experiences. We are discussion the "target" in the hair complex (the bulb, the bulge, etc)

As for me for my clinic I've bought a diod laser 1D by Innovatione. I like the way it works: the instrument heats quickly and there is no 30 minute waiting. The clients are satisfied.

Actually, in home epilation cancompete with salon procedures but it is unlikely to replace salon services completely. I work in a salon with 1S PRO and believe me in home epilation doesn t cpmpare with it. Firstly, the procedure id carried out by a competent specialist who prevents any possibility of burns. Secondly, supplies are often changed in order not to give the clients burns; and thirdly, cosmetologists see all the problem areas and avoids them. But everybody takes her own decision.

The first device did not fit for me. My cosmetologist advised me to stop the hair removal for 3 months. I ve done it and return the sesh last week with 1S Pro. So, there is no side effect (I don t take into account skin redness after the epilation now: it disappears after 10 15 min). No I am going to do the 4 hair removal, 40% of my hair disappears

Everything is individual of course. The epilator is chosen depending on type of skin. I have very delicate skin, especial private parts. The chafe and ingrown hairs appear. I was afraid to do laser epilation for much time bacause I worryed to suffer burns. Last week I did it and there is no chafe!

1S pro? What is the fabricator? It is Innovation, isnt it? My friend is beauty expert who uses it. The price is not low, I think it s expensive for home usage. And the pay back is heav. Cliens like it, there is no such effect after usage of wox and electrical epilators.

Everyone has her own best way of epilation. For me it is lasering. I complete special online training on the website of Innovatione and then I bought their appliance. Now all my friends ask me to make epilation for them. It is maximally automatised and safe to use.
