I would like to get a little into the technique of the SHR mode. This mode can be generated by IPL as well as laser devices.
SHR is being hyped in my country as quasi non plus ultra "all skin types, super safe, super efficient ... blah, blah".
My limited technical understanding tells me that this mode can never be as effective and thorough as the single impulse mode (Stamp-Mode) where I can dose my pulse length and energy exactly as I want it. Especially when I see practitioners hectically stroking the treatment head back and forth over the treatment areas, it really makes me wonder. As I said, just my opinion, but are there any professionals who can say more? Actually, you can only find advertisements for it on the net, but no specialists who deal with the topic in an objective manner.
Would great to start a discussion.
