What treatments can you recommend for this skin problem?

06.17 | Unregistered Commenterlanuza

For fair skin types an Ellipse I2PL treatment with 530-750 waveband applicator can be considered as a good choice.

lanuza, try generic 10% lactic acid lotion. i've seen dramatic improvement in my patient's skin.

agree with mica v. you should also use silica scrub in addition to the 10% lactic acid lotion.

09.4 | Unregistered Commenteramie

You should also consider a salicylic acid containing cleanser.

With keratosis pilaris, you need to be very careful to not over-scrub the area. Over scrubbing can aggravate and make your skin reddish and also stimulate overgrowth of keratin. This skin condition should be treated very gently with a lotion containing light glycolic or lactic acids. Don't forget your sunscreen too!
