The much talked about non-invasive fat melting machines are making their grand entry to Taiwan later this year. Zeltiq of USA and Ultrashape of Israel are the new players in town. I own a syneron velashape for body contouring and cellulite treatment. Since the introduction of fractionated lasers 5 years ago, there hasn't been anything ground breakingly new on the aesthetic market. I am very excited about the Zeltiq, Zerona, and Ultrashape and will be one of the first doctor in Taiwan to demo and experiment with these machines before making my purchase decision this fall.
All three machines claim to induce apotosis of adipocytes and reduce circumference of targeted fat area by >5cm (2 inches) without any diet or exercise modification. Imagine woman dropping 2 dress sizes and men going from 34inch waist down to 32 inch waist in a matter of months without any dieting or exercising is a dream sale pitch to my clients demography.
Zeltiq (cool sculpting mechanism developed by harvard docs Anderson, Avram and Manstein). Ultrashape (Israel made, non FDA approved, not available in USA ultrasound vibratory wave mechanisam to kill adipocytes 1.5cm below the skin), and Zerona (USA made, FDA approved device using low grade laser to heat and melt away adipocytesin targeted area). 3 different mechanisams all promising to do the same thing.

Cool VS Heat VS Ultrasound. I am about to find out more with my hands on demo. Male 36yo 180cm 84kg 34inch waist. Awaiting to try out all three machines before putting down US$120,000 on one of these new technology.
