Any opinions on buying a 2 year old smart lipo single wavelength 18w for the avg price of 20k and traning independently.
This as oposed to buying a new triplex for 160k and taking their 2 day preceptor or do you think i being foolish and should buy new and go for the training

Oops I jusr saw an ad for a used system like I mentioned. I was not talking about the posted system and dont know their asking price I was going on a unit I saw on laser finders.

wouldn't waste the money on the Triplex. The MPX is much faster than the 18w and reliability of the 18w is less than the earlier versions, though faster, such as the 6w, 10w or 12w. I would look to see what you can find on pricing of the MPX. If you have never done any body sculpting, would definitely do a 3-5 day course that covers emergency care, tumescent anesthesia and basic body contouring principles. Problem with Cynosure is that the first training class for the laser was only open to physicians who were already skilled in tumescent anesthesia and liposuction techniques, but after the first one, they decided to do all the training in one course. Okay for physicians already surgically trained but not so good for my nonsurgical colleagues.
