Bodysculpting & Liposuction > No Needle Mesotherapy
There have been numerous attempts using electroporation or similar to deliver medication through the skin; Acthyderm being made in Italy and initially marketed in Canada. The issue has always been the depth of penetration and how to control it as well as the substance used. Homeopathics do not work nearly as well medications. As for depth of penetration, the longer the treatment, the deeper it goes so it is not very accurate. For dissolving fat the results to my knowledge have been less than stellar. This is probably do to the cocktail. Needle Meso is superior. For very mild Cellulite it can show improvement.
I have used a system by mattioli called iontophoresis and like the results with traditional needle meso much better. I did see results when using the iontophoresis in conjunction with VelaShape and the combo seemed to work better than either did alone. I still use meso for post lipo areas and smaller areas.
When using Mesotherapy for cellulite, skin firming, (collagen renewal) what would be the best active topical to apply after treatment?
I've been reading about the electronic mesogun (MesoMega). Can anyone share their experience about this?
The treatment is pain-free, quick, simple, very comfortable with minimal side effects. I have recommended this to my MD friends as well. I've been using this for years, the effect is the same as with needles except that my patients report noticeable improvements.
How are the results for those that do mesotherapy without needles? Which system do you use? Anyone using Acthyderm, which looks like it used to be called Mesoderm I think? Thanks for all input!
