Esthetician & Skin Care Products > Partnering with a physician
I would suggest starting with your local area or next closest city. Check out their reviews on the internet, social media, followers? This can be used like their score. Then create a shortlist and begin from there by sending them an offer of network. The best thing would be to just aim to set a meeting and speak in person, Most doctors are doing this kind of thing so they will generally call the shots, so just make sure the terms are fair on you and your business! Good Luck!
First you simply can not partner with a physician, They can not be employees and most will not feel comfortable spending money on ventures with non medical persons.
Second simply " partnering" with a physician or having a " medical director" does not give you the legal right to perform medical procedures. Its important to know your state licensing rules you put LE im not sure what that is but I can tell you in you can not perform procedure classified as medical such as skin tightening, resurfacing, tattoo removal, using lasers for pigment issues, vein ablation etc, States have been pulling licenses and closing spas that practice beyond the scope of their license,
It isn't that difficult- ask the laser and injectible reps in your area for referrals to physicians that would be interested in partnering with you. I have had the most success from my Botox rep- she seems to know everyone-and is happy to pass names on to us as it's additional accounts for her to sell to.
Good luck
There are State laws. I suggest knowing them before you approach a physician. Start by asking your clients and friends who they recommend. Calling and setting up a meeting of how you can enhance their medspa or practice is the way to approach it. Cross selling your clients to the physician for their procedures will be a very appealing proposition.
I would like to expand service menu and my business by possibly partnering with a physician. Any suggestions on how to go about it?
