yes, I did, I purchased the new elite plus laser with the 18mm spot size - and within one month I had the fiber broken!! while I have worked on the Elite , the previuos generation, for more than 7 years without any problem.

In regards to the Cynosure elite plus laser, can anyone please message me if they have experience broken fibers or any other issues within the first year after their purchase. I'm a well seasoned laser tech and my fibers have broken 3 times, and 700 shots later my power supply has blown and my water pump needs to be replaced. I had an engineer look at my electrical outlet iand every thing looks good, and there is no evidence of an electrical surge however, my lasers power supply is blown.

Has anyone purchased the new elite plus laser with the 18mm spot size, has anyone had any problems?? Buyer beware my laser is covered under a 1 year warranty, and I have only owned it 6 months and the fiber has broken 3 times and 3 of my hand pieces need to be replaced/rebuilt at $375 a pop which are not covered under warranty.Fibers are not covered either which cost $1300 each time it breaks. This device is fragile, and cynosure doesn't stand behind there equipment. PLease help if anyone is suffering like me!
