I have seen a couple of used VISIA systems for sale. I know several med spa owners-- including myself -- who had good luck with this Canfield system. If you check the search engine on thie site you will see considerable discussion about several other systems as well.

We use the Canfield Visia CR. It is a great addition to the practice. Patients get a print out of their individual skin analysis and it helps to show them the different treatments that can help with their individual issues like redness, rhytids, pigmentation, etc. From there, they learn about fillers/Botox, pulse dye laser, ablative vs. non-ablative lasers, peels, etc.

I just bought a digital melanin and erythema analyzer from a New Zealand company for about $950 US, and I really love it. The company name is Pastiche, and you can find them on Google. Very user friendly, economical, they service their units.

IMHO. For the best practice Skin Analysis (I have used several)Emage medical has the Image Pro 3D. It is just as good as Visia without all the restrictions and costs that Canfield charges you. You are not locked into upgrade charges and costly help when you need a tech. Be careful buying a used Visia, I have seen the company charge to re-certify for new owner.
