Medspa Legal & Legislation > Written policy and procedures designed for Medspa?

Hi
I am a physician in CA opening a Medspa.
We will be offering laser services, injections, as well as esthetic services such as microdermabraision, facials, chemical peels. We are in the process of hiring a licensed esthetician. What steps do I need to take to make sure I am doing everything by the book when setting up this entity, hiring the esthetician, training the staff. The preliminary steps such as securing the location, professional liability, business entity have already been completed. I will be supervising all the medical procedures.
Is there any written policy and procedures designed for Medspa set up I need to follow.
Please advise.
Thanks,

Hello T.
Written procedures are something of a luxury for most clinics who are more of just seat-of-the-pants flyers... so you're ahead of the game there. I would look on the 'Products + Services' portion of this site since I have occasionally seed procedures for the business operations of a clinic that you can buy and modify to fit your needs.
Hope that helps somewhat.
