Bodysculpting & Liposuction > Where to buy 23G Blunt Cannula

I have been doing filler injection using radiess and restylane products for a few years without complications of severe bruising or hematomas. Using a blunt cannula for injecting in the malar, cheek, and nasolabial fold is becoming a much safer option. Where can I buy 23 Gauge blunt cannul with side exit ? Who do you guys buy your cannulas from?

Many thanks in advance.

Kenneth,

I bought mine from Byron. They sell a lot of cannulas for liposuction and fat transfer.

There are two French companies that make disposable cannulas of the following sizes: 18G, 22G, 25G, 27G and 30G.
These come in lenghts 100mm, 70mm and 40mm.
The companies are Thiebaud and Smartfil.
In the US there is Tulip (?) that sells only one usable for filler microcannula for fat reinjection 20G and 40mm, I think.
I have been using cannulas for several months and I see not a single advantage of needle injections. I predict that cannula will become a standard very soon as it has been in Europe and South America.

The Frengh company INEX is spécialisée in micro cannula. www.aestheticgroup.fr and have compétitive prices.

There is a company Cosmofrance Inc. that sells Dermasculpt blunt microcannulas. The website with order form is dermasculpt.net

I use cannulas from DermaSculpt. Provides comfort. Less bruising and less pain for patients. I use this to shape and sculpt the lips and cheeks.

just and FYI, our Radiesse rep told us about a program they offer where you can save money by ordering thru Mertz. We have just placed our first order and saved about $30/box.

I went to a congress SOFCEP in Paris, few weeks ago and INEX (France) offer you 1 more box if you buy 5 by email. Mixed Size
Just need to give the promotion code "dispoderm".
Price is 75€/box of 20 cannulas.

I also love the DermaSculpt. I'm using it for filler injections. An indispensable tool.

DERMASCULPT looks like INEX. INEX is a manufacturer.
I will let you guess what 's that means.
From my investigation I know that most wellknown brand are not manufacturer.

I too have been using DermaSculpt. I just wanted to share my patient's experience.I have noticed less bruising and increased level of patient comfort. At first, i wasn't comfortable using this cause it feels different than using needles.

P.S. I am in no way affiliated with this company.

Love Dermasculpt! Needles feel barbaric to use after using them!

Has anybody tried using DermaSculpt with Artefill? can you pls share your techniques?

I rhave been using Dermasculpt with Artefill and I'm very satisfied with the results. There is minimal bruising post injection. However, I will not recommend injecting this cannula intradermally.

I've been using these cannulas with Radiesse and Restylane since last year. I love it! I use these cannulas depending on the work that needs to be done. These are less traumatic for the patient. Very easy to use.

I have been using microcannulas now for nearly three years, and currently I am using them to perform 95% of all filler injections. Using the microcannula is clearly superior in terms of safety, accuracy of filling (no flash-back bleeders to obscure the area being injected), comfort to the patient, and less swelling. Although they require a small learning curve to get proficient with them, they are a far better way of injecting fillers. I use them for hyaluronic acid fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Belotero) and calcium hydroxyapatite (Radiesse). I am currently treating all areas of the face with the microcannula including the temples, cheeks, tear troughs / infraorbital hollows, nasolabial folds, melomental folds (marionette), lips, prejowl sulci, chin augmentation, the nose, and even deeper rhytids. Once you see their use and try them yourself, you will see the difference.

My major interest is in the upper eyelid rejuvenation in patients with the hollow eyes. I think each user has his preferred cannulas, some are more flexible, some more rigid, different gauges and lengths. Over the years I've tried 6 different manufacturers and eventually settled for 3 gauges, probably the most commonly used. Overall, the cannulas are more than worth to consider in any aesthetic practice. Some particular injections, however, are still easier with traditional, small gauge, sharp needle.
