Can someone share their experience with SmoothShapes and other non-surgical cellulite reduction systems? Which one offers the best results for their patients?

I had VelaShape 2 years ago. The plastic surgeon said I'd be a perfect candidate since I had little body fat. and boy was I disappointed. Did not see any results. At all.

I have used Velashape on clients. The results have been disappointing. I'm not pleased with the results and have a hard time selling it.

RF tecnology along with mesotherapy is giving very good results in body sculpting. Other than this, you can also give ayurvedic massages on particular area which gives significant inch loss.

I have an Endymed Pro and I have seen very good results by the end of 5 or 6 sessions (1 treatment/week)
It is especially good for cellulite (body contouring probe) and skin tightening (skin tightening probe).

From my experience, I have worked with different systems. So far I achieve best results for face and bodyusing Venus Freeze machine. It is really easy to operate, very comfortable for the client, the skin tightening and body contouring are excellent. Although the clients need up to 7-8 sessions.

The best remains to be Exilis Elite and it needs lesser sessions,2 sessions spaced as 2 weeks apart.

Does anyone have before and after pictures using these devices where diet and exercise were not used at the same time? We have looked at many devices, but rarely find anyone that has good before and after pictures without the aid of diet and exercise simultaneously. If so, please post a link to your photos.

Not to rain on anyone's parade but I worked with the Velashape for quite awhile and most clients were very unhappy. It was more negative feedback than positive which gave the big corporate company I worked for a not so great name. If anyone did happen to see results it was one or two inches and it was never up to expectations or worth the money clients spent. I want my clients happy. Not just getting the latest fad procedure. But like a previous comment I'd love to see pictures of real results from other machines because hey it may have just been that particular machine.

I used VelaShape and VelaSmooth as well, the results were not good. More recent I've used Exilis. I love Exilis for skin tightening on the face, but for body sculpting, we got mixed results. It really is for people who have just that stubborn spot, it helps with inches, not weight loss for sure.

I have been using SmoothShapes for cellulite with with very mixed results. About half the patients are very happy with the results and the other half feel it was not worth the money. Now, I use this device mainly in conjunction with more invasive treatments like smart lipo or ThermiRF. I only offer the SmoothShapes as a stand alone treatment to clients who are not price sensitive. If they are stretching their budgets for this treatment, I try to steer them away because chances are, they will not be happy.

We have performed over 10,000 VelaShape/smooth treatments since 2005 and when done properly, the system does work and most of our patients (over 75%) received a 30-60% reduction in the appearance of cellulite. Setting proper expectations is key as is patient selection and drinking at least 3 liters of water 5 days before and after each treatment.

Like most RF devices, the Vela family of products has been very operator dependent in obtaining better results. Now have Exlilis Elite and Vanquish from BTL and use the Vela following these treatments for lymphatic stimulation more than anything else.

You should take a look at the latest FDA cleared body contouring device on the market. The strawberry Lipo Laser by Lila. Two or more inches off with every treatment. Immediate and no pain. The side effect is skin tightening which is only enhanced with RF but not necessary.

LaLond, sounds like you represent the product. We had the Zerona for almost 2 years and was not satisfied as it worked on only about 25%-30% of patients treated and your strawberry system is a Zerona in different clothing.

I wanted to do body sculpting but I didn't want to do anything invasive or have a lot of downtimes. I tried emsculpting, and made more appointments!
